All Drivers License Applicants Must Take The Impact Texas Drivers Course

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is now requiring all drivers license applicants to complete an Impact Texas Drivers course.

Applicants ages 18 or older must take the Impact Texas Adult Drivers (ITAD) in addition to this 6 hour adult drivers ed course.

The Course Is Free and Takes Only 1 Hour

The Impact Texas Young Drivers course is a free 1-hour online course, and it must be completed no more than 90 days prior to the applicant taking the behind-the-wheel skills examination at the Texas DPS or through a third-party tester.

Take the ITAD Course After Our 6-Hour Adult Driver Education Course

ITAD should be completed after our 6-hour Adult Driver Education Course. You will need our Drivers Education School Number to register for the course which is found at the bottom of your certificate of completion.

If you are 18 or over you may take our online drivers ed course and skip the written test at the TX DPS.
